In addition to routine vision care, we are a leader of higher level ophthalmic healthcare. With advanced diagnostic technology our doctors expertly manage ocular injuries, infections and diseases. From MRI and lab orders to co-managing surgical intervention, our team takes responsibility to provide you with the absolute best care available.
Our Story
It all started in 1950 when Dr. Ronald Julien opened his optometry office on Thor Street in Turlock. Later, Dr. Julien was joined by Dr. Jay Berry, then Dr. Alan Julien. After years of providing eye care to their community, they had outgrown their office.
In 1999, Drs Berry and Julien moved their clinic to Colorado Avenue, with the serendipitous address of "2020". Here, Drs Alan Julien, JP Hamel and Collin Robillard expanded into medical eye care services, as the scope of practice in California rapidly advanced.

As the demand for eye care services continues to grow in Stanislaus County, Turlock Eyecare has welcomed two additional optometrists, a second clinic location, student interns and their very own glasses finishing lab.
