Alan Julien, OD
Dr. Alan Julien was born and raised in Turlock and has been practicing optometry for over 30 years. After graduating from Turlock High School he attended Menlo College for two years before enrolling in the University of California at Berkeley where he completed his bachelor's degree as well as his doctorate in optometry.
After completing his professional training he developed a number of exciting interests including racing sports cars, teaching single engine piloting and team roping as a heeler. In his spare time he also enjoys woodworking and remodeling.
JP Hamel, OD
Dr. JP Hamel was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, but moved to California with his family in the late 1970s. He grew up in Merced, California. In 1997, he graduated from UC Davis with his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science.
After spending a year working at a local grocery store and as a tutor for Kaplan in Fresno, he enrolled at Pacific University in Oregon. There, at the College of Optometry, Dr. Hamel completed his thesis "Soft Toric Lens Fitting Adjustment Software" before graduating with his doctorate in optometry. He moved to Turlock to start practicing optometry in 2002.
In his spare time, Dr. Hamel enjoys cooking, working out, playing cards, and spending time with his family.
Collin Robillard, MS, OD
Dr. Collin Robillard was born and raised in Turlock. After graduating from Turlock High School he attended CSU Stanislaus. He obtained his Bachelor of Science, Masters degree in Visual Science, and doctorate in optometry from Pacific University in Oregon.
During graduate school, he completed research on diabetes and hypertension. He obtained the Feinbloom Low Vision Award and The Outstanding Clinician Award.
Dr. Robillard's interest in the academic community continues as he lectures to medical residents throughout the Central Valley.
In his free time, Dr. Robillard enjoys recording music, hiking in the Sierra’s, going to the movies, and spending time with his wife and dog.
